SlideDeck for WordPress and Slider Order for Pages Fix

Scenario:

Slide deck pro on WordPress
Site uses featured pages, with featured images

Problem:

Site has a featured page order in the slider they want to keep. Adding a new featured page to the slider puts the new page at the start of the slider.
The new featured page needs to be at the end of the slide

Fix:

The issue is that the slide order for pages using slidedeck is controlled by the DATE when the page was published.

We edited the date for the new page to be before the last page in the the slider. This is found above the publish button (Publish immediately Edit)

Plesk Horde Webmail There are no messages in this mailbox – Fixed!

Webmail issue with Plesk and Horde Webmail came up today:

“There are no messages in this mailbox” error came up for a client today, even though there are emails in the account.
The fix was to reset sortpref for that user to its’ default setting’ in the Horde DB

This was based on info found here http://tips.negaard.net/info/HordePrefs.html – A big thank you to this unknown author.

Thunderbird EMail with Google Hub Integration

For my Thunderbird email client I purchased a cool add on called G-Hub Pro, which allows for quick access to Google services such as making new Google docs, Google Calendar etc.

The latest version has a access to Google contacts and now has the ability to define several custom links out. I have Freshbooks and RTM/Remember The Milk as my custom ones.

I find it a very handy add on and its only $2.99, which is very fair imo.
