shone AboutMr. Anstey’s has been involved in the IT industry for over 14 years. As President of XPC Technology Services, Mr. Anstey currently specializes in online marketing and IT services. Key services include search engine optimization, social media marketing, and the provision of ecommerce solutions. Mr. Anstey also owns and operates Sitesubmit.ca, an online marketing and search engine optimization portal with over 10000 members.

Mr. Anstey has played pivotal roles in software development projects ranging from Forex desktop trade alert systems to cloud computing projects. From 2004-2007, he was VP – Business Development for Multimedia Technologies, Western Canada’s largest supplier of software and video games. Projects included a roll out of internal operation systems for inventory and customer management and control, VoIP system integration, and ecommerce deployment. Multimedia Technologies continues to be a client of Mr.Ansteys. Prior to this, Mr. Anstey was VP – Business Development for the Data Fortress Group, a data center with a local area metro connectivity via a 3.2 km fibre ring in downtown Vancouver along with layer 2 connection between Vancouver and Seattle. James

James has 11 years of network software development experience, particularly on the Linux platform. He has focused especially on high-performance network applications and has worked on billing gateways and network management systems in the hospitality industry. He closely follows Internet development trends and is well-versed in deployment technologies. He is also a member of the openSUSE Linux development community.

He has developed and deployed custom single-purpose Linux operating systems, high-availability cluster creation tools, network traffic control software, a gateway proxy designed to handle very heavy loads, a high-performance network testing and benchmarking system, and a multi-site deployment and management system with a distributed secure network grid and centralised control and monitoring. He has also developed software for embedded systems such as set-top boxes and factory machines.

Webmaster for weathercity.com a high traffic database driven website with weather data for over 64,000 cities. Entire website is custom hand coded by Marty along with the custom weather forecasting software. Current MySQL database for this site is about 18 gigs and well over 2 million records.

Ryan

Ryan grew up learning every little bit of technology required to run a medium-sized wholesale company that his family owns. He specializes in using creativity and out-of- the-box thinking to simplify and streamline business operations, saving the company time and money. He is always thinking progressively, for example he would rather spend time on making things run better than doing things the slow way. Other skills acquired range from web development, graphic design in Adobe Photoshop, desktop publishing, networking, purchasing and database design.

Ryan went to school at Langara, and is certified in their Web Developer – Open Source program. He does web development and design for XPC Technology Services. His skills include custom graphic design, CSS and PHP coding. He has worked with numerous web applications, specifically WordPress and Magento.

Ryan started XPC Web Hosting Ltd. in 2009 to specialize in business web hosting that provided quality support and great uptime for his clients. He currently hosts over 450 websites on a cloud network using advanced technologies to have websites running as fast and stable as possible.
